Evans Walker

The USA photographer

He was interested in the countryside and how the people living in their town. The way he is special because the photo from him is simple and straightly In 1938, walker's solo exhibition was held at the museum of modern art in New York, the first solo exhibition held at a museum in history.

Susan Sontag said :if evans walker was not the best photographer in usa but he is the most greatest and the most insight one.

In 1960s Evans finish the work at Fortune magazine and accepted a professorship at Yale. It is a change for his photographer life. He is far away from commercial photography and toward to more moody to personal pieces. In this photo the room have the steps that there are some body live in here the chair the rug. These photo shows the different ways how people living in there live. Evans's life-long project: exploring different ways to capture what he saw as the essence of humanity.
