Georgia O'Keeffe

Georgia O’Keeffe was born in America, 1887. Flowers and landscapes are well known as her artworks. She usually abstracted the expression of nature and tried to know about the power and emotion of things. She is in order to highlight the main forms of nature combine abstraction and realism. O'Keeffe's plant combines pastels, charcoal, watercolors, and oil with a sense of line, color and formation, creating charming simple works.

Radiator Building-Night, New York(1927)

This picture is an oil painting on a canvas. This picture shows a very realistic and simple yet precise style of expression. The building in the picture was established 3 years before her artwork. The building is art-Deco high-rise building and it shows unchanging skyline in New York where she often felt certain fear. She expressed from a low viewpoint the building's a feeling of oppression and a sense of existence among the people.
