James Turrell is an American conceptual artist whom works with the media of lights. He uses beams of lights, shadows and architectural designs to create space (Using the colors of light and space to create new sensations). He often expresses his work as experiments, as the colors have different meaning for different people. As people step into the space and the light shines on the viewer’s skin, they become part of the work, and each color reflects on a different mood for everyone, therefor there isn’t a specific way to interpret the mood of most of his artwork.
